Production Update 3
Mystic Marrakech markets Day Six: Harry, Jasper and David forge ahead to Spain to scout locations. Crew and I finish shipping gear and bravely volunteer to take rest of the day off in Marrakech. Roaming through the wildly exotic markets of the city, favorite purchase is a pair of knock-off Levi's - I have given up on my luggage.

Day Seven: Transit day as gear passes through nebulous limbo known as customs. Leaving Morocco with twinge of sadness - culture this rich deserves more time to explore - it's like one lick of ice cream and you drop your cone. At gate, check-in attendant looks at my ticket funny. "Mr. Dial?" "Yes?" "Your bag arrived here last night."

Well, at least that means clean clothes for next leg of the adventure...

Timeless landscapes of Extremadura Spain

Day One: Arrive Madrid and stay night in generic hotel near mall - fear that it may be hard to find traditional Spanish vaqueros. Again, as soon as we leave city, clock turns back and countryside becomes montage of low-rising hills covered in olive groves and stone-walled paddocks, with occasional white and red village on horizon.
